Design and Planning
Whether your project is large or small, our job is to provide you with a realistic scope of the cost for the project you have envisioned. There are options to almost any project. From moving walls to selecting tile, you will be required to do some planning, shopping ,and make decisions on how you want to spend your remodeling budget. When starting the planning phase we suggest that you educate yourself on all the variety of materials available for your project. Some homeowners prefer to handle all the material purchases independently, and we are more than happy to install what you provide. However, you can save a lot of time and money letting a designer guide your project. There is nothing worse than making a hasty decision or letting cost rule your selection to end up with a finish look that is less than perfect, to you.
It is important to be prepared that remodeling does require you to invest your money and your time. We recommend you make a short list of all the things you don’t like about the room you are planning to change, as well as, a list of all the things you would like to add. This helps us make recommendations and guide you in using your remodeling budget wisely.
Once you have made the decision to pursue a project, depending on the size, some projects will require a planning phase. This phase includes making drawings of the room, selecting materials, and gathering all the construction cost. Whether you choose to design on your own, or consider using our recommended designers we are here to provide you with the service you are seeking.
Our estimates will include a brief description of proposed work, an estimated cost for materials and labor, and a firm pricing will require a final design plan. With basic projects we are able to go straight to contract. On larger scale projects, a design phase is needed. This phase affords us the time to present options, outline details and limitations, gather projected cost of subcontractors, and specify your material selections.
